How To Market Your Marketing Articles
from: Deb St. George - MarketingSalesCopy.comYou have your online business, you have already started writing some articles in order to make your name and your business own, but now it’s time to consider distributing those articles as well, in the most effective way if you want to earn some revenue and succeed .
Most people tend to follow the easy way, using article submission. That’s not so bad. Article directories and warehouses are really good and get great rankings in search engines, but the problem is that most of the time your articles will be lost among zillion other of the same topic. Unless you are a really great author with original ideas, then there is a great possibility that your articles will just get some regular traffic, but that’s about it. Moreover, when publishing something online you can always expect that your content will be eventually copied or even duplicated in other article hosting websites. You have heard of article spinning of course, so your original ideas may eventually end up in other blogs and articles all over the web.
There are a few things you can do additionally, so as to make sure that you get more traffic and you can make a place for yourself among all the others. First of all you can create a website, completely yours, where you can start organizing some news sections, providing information and details about several things concerning the field of your business, as well as the business itself. You can create some long lasting, trusting relationships with the readers this way, so that you don’t seem like the person who just wants to advertise and get profit. It is important to make people believe that they get something valuable from you, such as information and knowledge. This way they will be more than happy to click on your website links. If you are not really up to this, or you find it too time consuming, consider just starting a blog of your own, where you can post your articles, pictures and multimedia that can link to your business website as well. It is important though, to update the blog frequently.
Another great idea is to create an eBook. If you have a niche topic, or you think that what you are saying is important and worth reading, then an eBook is the best choice, because you can include a large amount of content, write a small introduction and publish it online freely or maybe pay a small fee if you find it worthwhile. Just make sure that there is always a link to your website so that your efforts are rewarded. The goal is not to become an author but to promote your business.
