Article Marketing Online and Offline: Getting The Best Of Both Worlds
from: Deb St. George - MarketingSalesCopy.comArticle marketing is a way of marketing that is being used by companies for sometime now. It is an effective way to market any product while at the same time attempting to keep the cost of marketing as low as possible. Article writing and marketing is beneficial to all concerned as it attracts a larger number of readers who are looking for information and the company in turn gets customers. A company can publish an article that is relevant to their nature of business. And people can read about it in an attempt to get some basic knowledge in a specific field while at the same time they also have the potential of becoming good customers of that company which has published the article.
There are a number of ways in which article marketing can be used. Online article marketing is fast catching on although many publishers are yet to utilize the full potential of this tool. There are many web pages that offer publishing free of charge and most do not limit the length of the matter as well. There are millions of internet users today so the probability of many coming across a specific page at the same time can also be very high. Articles are usually informative, based on a particular topic relevant to a business and also contain the contact information or link to the website of the author of the article or the business promoting the article.
If someone is interested in buying patio furniture, they would obviously like to research on the internet as most seem to do these days. When they look up patio furniture , they not only get the results of the various stores that offer patio furniture, but they may also come across articles talking about various types of patio furniture or on maintaining patio furniture .The articles through company details or links may direct the customer to the website where they can then get more information.
Similarly, there are other mediums that can be used to publish articles for example, newspapers, magazines, catalogues and hand-outs. Companies have since a long time now used these media as well to get across to their customers. Although the internet remains as the strongest medium these days, print media would help companies reach out to people in areas where internet facility is limited or absent. Since online media is cheaper companies may opt to take that route more but one never knows where the next customer can come from. Hence the importance of print media should not be negated entirely as all members of a community can then be attempted to be covered and the lack of online connectivity will not become a limitation.
