Blogging for Bucks
from: Deb St. George - MarketingSalesCopy.comInternet marketing is a diverse enterprise. There are many Internet marketers that don’t sell merchandise at all but make their money in other ways. If you are a creative Internet marketer, you can make money by blogging, in addition to other creative methods. There are millions of blogs on the Internet about various subjects. Some people blog just for the fun of it; others blog to earn money. Some blogs are Internet marketing blogs while other blogs read like diaries. If you like to blog you can add revenue to your Internet marketing business.
Blogging for Ad Revenue
Some bloggers choose a niche they are interested in and instead of featuring products, they blog about the subject to inform their readers. The premise of this type of blog is to attract readers to your blog who may then click on ads placed on the site by Google or other companies who share the revenue the ads generate with the blogger. In this kind of Internet marketing system, visitors don’t have to purchase anything for the blogger to earn money. The blogger earns when the ads are clicked on even if no purchase is made.
Update Your Blog Daily
It takes a lot of clicks on those ads to generate much revenue for the blogger. Many bloggers make only pennies from revenue sharing ads on their blogs. A slim few claim they make thousands per month. It is possible to make good money blogging for ad revenue but it takes thousands and thousands of clicks on the ads to make any real money. Because of this, bloggers need to update their blogs daily with fresh, new, and exciting content in order to attract more readers and to keep readers coming back.
Another Stream of Income
Blogging doesn’t have to be the only thing you do in your Internet marketing business but it can be another stream of income. You can update your blog on a daily basis and then work on your website. In addition, you can include a link on your blog that leads to your website and that can help drive additional traffic to your site. Some bloggers maintain several different blogs at once and make blogging their entire Internet marketing business.
If you have a talent for writing and you like to blog, this can be a great opportunity to either start your Internet marketing business or to enhance it.
