How To Use Keywords in Search Engine Marketing.
from: Deb St. George - MarketingSalesCopy.comTypically in search engine marketing the writer uses a series of keywords and/or key phrases. These words and phrases are created based upon the type of product and/or services offered by the website. Most web Base businesses use keywords to increase traffic to their website and/or use their services. Articles which use the keyword and key phrase are usually titled as a question in which many readers may want the answers to, such as “How do you grow tulips?” Growing Tulips may be the key words and/or key phrase.
Once the article has the title, which displays the keyword or phrase, then the first paragraph will also display the keyword or phrase as it introduces the articles. Depending on the business they may want to use these keywords throughout the entire article. Most articles will have the keyword or phrase in the title, beginning paragraph and in the conclusion of the articles. Therefore the article will be saturated with key word or key phrase, set as a questions where the article would answer the question proposed; while informing the reader where to go to get more information, typically to the intended website.
The use of keywords and keyword phrases can not be stressed enough when trying to promote a website. A search engine optimization expert must be able to get creative when adding keywords into an article because they want it to be informative, flow well, as well as alert search engines when a consumer is searching for your product or service online. For example, if you are selling essay writing services you would be sure to use such keywords and keyword phrases such as; A plus writing services, writing services, essay writer, essay professionals, expert essay writers, and other variations as well. The more optimized your article is for keyword submission, the better. Do not, however, create content for your article that simply sound like a laundry list of keywords. Nobody wants to read something that goes along the lines of: "Looking for great Essay Writer? you've come to the right place for A+ writers, essay professionals, writing services, and more." This sentence is just silly and your consumers will think so as well.
When writing articles or content for your website it is apparent that keyword usage is key to your success. As long as your site does not fall into the trap of simply listing keywords, the benefits to such advertisement will be great! Another tip to keep in mind is to be sure that your content is fresh and updated at least once a week. I'm not talking about a complete over-haul of your websites content every week but perhaps a new article, blog, or news piece will keep your site fresh and will even keep your consumers coming back for more. Once you employ this technique the traffic to your site will increase dramatically almost overnight.
