There are many platforms and groups that pull in large numbers of people and draw general attention. So using them as a means of advertising can only be useful for your business. Social bookmarking is a technique that allows users to save links of the web pages they visit and like, so as to share them with their friends and other community members. If the number of feedbacks is positive then that website is most likely to be visited often by other new members or even the regulars who will be checking for updates and news. One of the biggest advantages that these networks offer is that you can create a small website in the social community and provide information about yourself
and your business. When it comes to this way of self advertising, it is good to remember that the same rules of internet marketing apply. Your page needs to be interesting and informative so that people have a good reason to visit it and then spread the word.
The most important thing is to create a good reputation in these social communities. If you do that bookmarking and traffic will inevitably follow.
